Coteaux Bourguignons
The vine
Our 0.70 hectare vineyard features three old Gamay vines. This cuvée was vinified on the estate then sold in bulk. Due to the change in climatic conditions and the grape’s ability to ripen well, in 2012, we decided to age the wine in barrels, bottle it and market it.
Vinification and ageing
It is identical to that of Pinot Noir. The only difference is the 14-day vatting period, with just one punching down of the cap and the proportion of new barrels is dropped to 10%.

Distinctive characteristics
It’s more than just a nice, charming cuvée As they age, the wines develop a beautiful elegance and blind tastings are full of surprises as their complexity matches that of Pinot Noir. This is undoubtedly due to our clay and limestone soils.
